I think I could use this type of application with a class if I wanted them to have a class list of books. This list might be the list of books the class likes to read that I could give for students to discover new books. Or I could create a list of different books that the students could chose from for an upcoming unit of study. Then the students could chose based on several different criteria as well as order the books after seeing how much they cost or what the subject matter was about. One last way I could even use this software would be to put up a list of different essays that students could read relating back to the main class text. That way students don't need to be as worried about finding critical essays that challenge their reading but don't go too far over their heads. Overall I think I could effectively use a database like this in the classroom.
