CommentTwo friends and I spent two nights at Peakstones to enjoy a two day break visiting the Alton Towers theme park. We stayed in a static caravan, and each thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
At a very affordable price for us young adventurers, we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable.
We were very impressed by the quality of accommodation for such brilliant value. The whole site has a wonderful, welcoming feel and we would all like to stay again soon!

CommentI really enjoyed my stay in a caravan very clean and comfortable, lovely breakfast, maggie was a real help if we wanted to explore elsewhere.Only 5 mins to theme park. I would have no hesitation about recommending peakstone inn to my family and friends

CommentMy friends, daughter and I go to Alton Towers every year but this was the 1st time we stayed at Peakstones. We all had a brill time, we stayed in a static caravan it was clean and cosy and we are already planning our next trip back. Breakfast was also very good and my daughter loved the toy themed room.
Bar meals and drinks also very good value for money.
Thanks to all the staff for a great few days away. Looking forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

CommentMy family and I stayed very recently (June 2010) and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The lodges are excellent and practically laid out. The breakfasts are the nicest by far I've ever had - so - fab accommodation and lovely food complimented by happy/cheerful staff. Definitely return and Thanks again!

Commentwe first stayed at peakstones inn nine years ago and have been back atleast once every year since then and i must say we love it everytime. margaret is wonderful and so are all her staff. everytime we go back we take more friends with us and i think last year we ended up with fourteen of us in total. I've never written on here before but felt i owed it to margaret to let everyone know how brilliant peakstones is. you will not find a warmer friendlier happier place to enjoy a weekend away and they truly make you feel like part of the family.
we are already planning our visit in october this year.

CommentWe went down for our sons 3rd birthday (7 june till 10 june) to go to Alton towers. Margaret told me about Drayton manor when booking. I'm so glad she did my son had the best birthday. Margaret was so welcoming and had so much time and energy to play with Morris. everything was 1st class. caravan, food, prices and hospitality of all staff. My only complaint about it all was I had to leave. would definitely go back and recommend to everyone.

Just spent bank-hol weekend in one of the caravans - spotlessly clean, warm and cozy. Fantastic breakfasts and evening meals. Margaret has a terrific sense of humour, gives all her guests time and makes them feel special. The icing on the cake was to see her on the karaoke - What a performance - brilliant!!! (you missed your true vocation in life there Margaret).

We planned at the last minute on a very low budget and she made our caravan nice with clean towels every day. she was also kind enough to lend us her sat nav the first day so we could find our way around. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. CommentWe stayed at the Peakstones Inn during the October holidays to visit Alton Towers. We had a fantastic stay. Margaret was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Her advice was invaluable to us and actually saved us a lot of money!(Thrillhopper pass - access to Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Snowdome and Waterworld) We stayed in the caravan with our family and our friends stayed in the Inn. Both happy with accommodation. The caravan was lovely and cosy, but not set up for self catering. Breakfasts fantastic, catering to all the individual requests of the children! Bar meals also good value. Kids loved playing darts and the revolving snooker table. Children are made very welcome.
There are lovely walks from the Inn - nice contrast to the theme parks!
We had a lovely stay. Thank you to Margaret and all the staff for a friendly excellent stay!!!!

CommentStayed with you on 26th & 27th September. Had a really warm welcome (on a cold dark night after a long drive), and enjoyed several drinks with you and your staff - who were very friendly - before calling it a night.
My brother fancied real ale which wasn't on when we visited, but you made sure that there was ample for him to drink the following day, after our trip to Alton Towers.
Breakfast was great - in a really unique room (so many eyes.....). Nothing was too much trouble.
Karaoke was fun, although I did feel I sang a couple to many...... but the drink was flowing nicely! - Funny that the DJ new our neck-of-the-woods so well!
Will definitely recommend to my friends, and can't wait for our next visit to the towers, so we can enjoy your hospitality again.

CommentMy husband my self and 3 boys stayed here in the family room above the pub,whilst our friends stayed in one of the lovely chalets with their children. All were made very welcome by margrate & her staff.Romms was very clean cosy and comfy. Breakfast was great just what you need ahead of an energetic day bombing around the fantastic Alton Towers. highly recommend this one will definetaly be coming back next year cheers margaret.

CommentReturned 2 hrs go from fanstatic stay at the Peakstones inn. Will definetly be returning when we next visit Alton Towers. Maggie is brill, as are all the staff. Didnt catch the young girl's name whom helped in the kitchen each morning but if Maggie ever thinks of retiring, she good run the place . She was organised, efficient and made sure everyone in the breakfast room was served quickly ..well done, you. We stayed in a chalet and it was clean,tidy and we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was always relaxed and friendly and food was lovely too. The children loved the round pool table and the quirky dart board.
A massive thankyou for organising for someone to come and jump start the car (left the nintendo on in it overnight !!)..Thats the thing ..nothing was too much trouble !! The Loves "Chalet 1"

We found the room clean and we all felt at home straight away. The food was fantastic and kareoke was a laugh! All the staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for you. I would definatly recommed Peakstones to anyone. Margaret you are truely a legend. We will certainly be back next year! The Hertfordshire lot xxxxxxx

CommentMyself, husband and 5 friends stayed at Peakstones for 2 nights on 14/15th August. Margaret was FANTASTIC!! The food was yummy and accommodation clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a laugh with her in the bar on both nights.
Thank you for putting up with us all and i'm sure we'll return very soon, possibly with more of our friends!!

MARGARET AND MATT WERE VERY HELPFUL AND MADE US VERY WELCOME. THANKS TO MARGARET AND NEIL FOR A GREAT KARIOKE NIGHT. THE FOOD WAS REALLY REALLY NICE -I WOULD RECOMMNED THE HOT CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE.
