The Central Louisiana Genealogical Society was
formed to preserve genealogical and historical
information relative to the parishes of Allen,
Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Evangeline,
Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Sabine,
Vernon, and Winn. The purpose of the society is to
gather, process, and preserve genealogical
material, and to educate members in all phases of
research.
